History

Vocational Pathways of Edmonton Association (VPAE) was established under the leadership of Marilyn McGreer who saw the need to support foreign trained nurses to achieve their vocational goals, beginning with members of the church where her husband was the pastor, New Life Pentecostal Church of Edmonton.  The church provided financial support and office space to get started, including the purchase of the curriculum. In 2015 she decided to form a non-profit society carry to broaden community engagement and plan for expanded programming.  VPAE was incorporated on April 16, 2015.
